Let iPhone do the heavy lifting

Speech recognition, scoring, cue corrections, and reports stay on the iPhone. The Watch receives only the session state it needs.

Requires Cue Complete on iPhone and a paired Apple Watch. Cue coverage can also trigger a haptic confirmation on the Watch.

Your words stay yours.

Privacy is part of the product experience, not a footnote.

⌁

On-device by default

Where supported, the app requests on-device speech recognition instead of quietly falling back to network processing.

◌

No raw-audio archive

The current MVP does not save raw microphone audio to disk. Transcript saving is optional and local.

You stay in control

Manual overrides, local history deletion, transcript deletion, and user-initiated export are part of the workflow.

A few clear answers

Before you step up.

Is this a teleprompter?

No. Cue Complete is a checklist of requirements, not a script. It is designed to let you speak naturally while keeping track of the points you chose in advance.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes—when your device supports on-device recognition. Cue Complete uses that mode by default where Apple’s speech services allow it. Hybrid mode is an explicit opt-in when on-device recognition is unavailable.

Which devices don’t support on-device recognition?

Cue Complete requires iOS 17 or later and supports iPhone and iPad. There isn’t one dependable model cutoff: Apple reports on-device speech support at runtime based on the device, language, and current speech-service availability. Cue Complete checks that capability before each session. If Apple reports it unavailable, On-device only mode will not recognize speech; Hybrid mode can use network-assisted recognition when you allow it.

Is there an Apple Watch companion?

Yes. See the Apple Watch companion section above for its glanceable coverage, session controls, haptic confirmations, and iPhone pairing details.

Can I correct the app?

Yes. Manual check and uncheck controls are always available. The user’s judgment beats the automated suggestion.

Can I use it for meetings and classes?

Yes. Cue Complete is designed for any spoken situation where you have a short set of points to cover, including meetings, classes, interviews, workshops, and presentations.
